2019: The Global Presidential Primary

Democrats Abroad is considered a "state" party by the Democratic National Committee (DNC). And, thus, members of Democrats Abroad can choose to vote in the Global Presidential Primary or in their voting state's primary.

So, to increase participation in the primary (AND membership in Democrats Abroad), we had to create awareness of the global primary and to explain not only WHAT it is, but also WHERE and HOW to vote and WHY!

At the end of the day, it is issues that motivate people to exercise their right to vote, especially from abroad where there are so many obstacles to do so...AND in the midst of a global pandemic! The issues addressed in this campaign were intended to resonate and to motivate as broad a range of voters as possible... Racial Justice Black Lives Matter Gender Equality LGBTQ+ Equality Economic Justice Climate Justice Gun Control Healthcare Pandemic Relief Immigration Justice Systemic Racism Police Brutality This campaign allowed me to work again with Graphic Designer - Deborah Sommers and Project Planner - Alyson Mclean.
