2018 Midterms: "It Matters"

Nine million Americans live outside of the U.S., 6 million of which are eligible to vote. We vote in every state and every congressional district! Overseas votes can be decisive in elections, particularly in close races.

In 2018, our potential impact on the election results would be stronger than ever, given narrowing margins of victory and (typically) low turnout for midterms. Our vote is Our voice. Americans living abroad needed to make their voices heard!

In 2018, after 2 years of non-stop madness in America, liberal-leaning Americans were angry. It was hard not to feel helpless living abroad. Yet, there were a wide range of issues that could motivate voters:

  • Climate Change
  • Environment
  • Racial Equality
  • Gun  Control
  • Healthcare
  • Immigration
  • Women's Rights
  • LGBTQ+ Rights
Still and video versions created in collaboration with Graphic Designer - Deborah Sommers and Project Planner - Alyson Mclean.
